Following our last message, we received a few questions from some of you. We completely understand that with this change of location, you may need a few more details. It’s very important to us that you arrive at the courses at ease.
You’ll find below the answers to the most frequently asked questions.
1) Do I have to stay at Domaine de la Butte Ronde ?
2) I would like to reserve a single room at the Domaine. Is that possible ?

1) Do I have to stay at Domaine de la Butte Ronde ?
No. It was important for us to give you the freedom to choose your own accommodation, so you are absolutely welcome to stay outside of the Domaine.

There is also a campsite located 25 minutes from the Domaine.
A Facebook group has been created so you can connect with one another (shared accommodation, carpooling, etc.). Click here to join.
Please note that if you choose to stay outside the Domaine, a €25 fee per week for access to the Domaine facilities will be charged directly by the Domaine.
2) I would like to reserve a single room at the Domaine. Is that possible ?
We would like to inform you that the Domaine de la Butte Ronde has opened reservations for single rooms for Week 1 (Teachers’ Week) and Week 4 (Advanced Level).
The rate is €920 (full board included, excluding the €7.80 tourist tax). You will be able to book directly through the website. As the number of single rooms is limited, we recommend reserving as soon as possible.
At the moment, single-room reservations are not yet open for Weeks 2 (General Course) and 3 (Intermediate Course). Reservations for these rooms are expected to open beginning of June. We will keep you informed.
3) I’m having trouble booking my room through the Domaine de la Butte Ronde website.

Reservations are configured according to the French time zone. If you are booking from another time zone, please make sure to adjust your stay dates accordingly when making your reservation.

4) I would like to know the schedule for the practice days.
Here is a provisional schedule (there may be some slight changes):
Teachers’ week: the day begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends around 7:30 p.m. (except on the last day, before 5:00 p.m.)
General, intermediate, and advanced weeks: the day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends around 7:00 p.m. (except on the last day of the advanced week, before 4:00 p.m.)
5) I would like to book a Twin room, but the website indicates that there is no availability left.
The Domaine de la Butte Ronde has opened reservations for a few additional Twin rooms. We recommend booking them quickly, as availability is limited.
6) Is the shuttle service included in the course fee ?
No. Please allow €20 per trip, payable to the Paris Iyengar Yoga Center (click here to obtain the bank details).
7) Is full board mandatory at the Domaine de la Butte Ronde ?
Yes. For guests staying at the Domaine, full board is included in the package. It includes a hot drink in the morning, as well as a vegetarian buffet lunch and dinner (starter, main course, dessert).
The chef, who is well known and specializes in vegetarian cuisine, also offers vegan options and can accommodate different dietary requirements (please specify them before your arrival by emailing stageyogaiyengarparis(at)gmail.com).
Guests staying outside the Domaine may book half board (4 lunches for €120) directly through the Domaine’s dedicated website.
